Goshin-Do Aiki-Jujutsu - Dai Nippon Gendai Bushikan Renmei
About Us
Gendai Bushikan Dojo

At the Gendai Bushikan Dojo we take our training very seriously. Goshin-Do Aiki-Jujutsu is a Gendai (modern) system of self defense based on traditional Koryu (old school) forms of Japanese Martial Arts used by the Samurai. We do not attend sport Karate tournaments or teach kata.

We teach a strict, traditional Japanese curriculum in Aiki-Jujutsu with emphasis on real life self defense training. Our goal is to have a core group of very serious Martial Artists who want to train and learn a legitimate, proven and complete system of traditional Japanese self-defense. We do not sell ranks, you pay for rank with hard work & dedication only.

Our dojo is not a business! Teaching, learning, practicing, and respect is what this dojo (school) is about, nothing else. The Goshin-Do Aiki-Jujutsu Association is a private club and we reserve the right to refuse instruction to anybody not living up to the standards of the dojo.  All potential new members must be approved before being accepted to the dojo and must be of good moral character to receive instruction.  If this sounds like an art that you would like to learn more about, please call the number below.

All classes are personally taught by
Dominick Barizone Yondan Renshi 4th Degree Black Belt

Sensei Barizone has 25 years practicing and teaching traditional Japanese martial arts and is licensed (Menkyo) to teach by the Dai Nippon Gendai Bushikan Renmei Honbu Dojo Kyoto Japan.
